Finish 6 modules to be ready and permitted to take the state exams for licensing

Each module should be completed within 60 days (with all 6 completed within 1 year or less)
Students will book a class (after each module) to test here and learn/review hand on skills

Start with this first module to learn salon career information, sanitation, safety and manicures.

Module 2 will continue nail salon sciences with pedicure services.

IF NOT PAID IN FULL:
Finish Mod 1 within 30 days with a Test 1 score of 95% or higher: Part 2/3 can be combined for $1,000 (especially if showing advance mani/pedi skills in Test 1 day

Module 3 will teach human sciences with gel polish services.

Part 4/6 30hrs

Module 4 teaches about nail products and beginner Acrylics.

IF NOT PAID IN FULL:
Finish Mod 1-3 within 90 days of paying for Mod 1 with a Test 1-3 average of 95% or higher: Part 4/5 can be combined for $1,000 (especially with advance acrylic skills)

Part 5/6 30hrs

Module 5 teaches advance Acrylic

Final Part 10hrs

Module 6 will evaluate and finalize nail training to prepare students for their licensing exam within 10 months of paying to enroll in Mod 1

All 6 modules MUST be complete within 1 year (to avoid paying to start again)
After all 6 modules are completed within 1 year (with passed testing here) students will be ready and permitted to take the state exams to get their Virginia Nail Technician License

How much will it cost to get a Nail License?
Bundle pay-if-full cost for all 6 modules is $3,000 to be completed within 10 months (or sooner as desired).
Students can also pay per module cost is up to $3,500. Supplies are needed at home or make an optional purchase of a kit from us.
After course is completed: the exam fee is $172, the exam supplies is about $100-150 and the license fee is $105 (renewed every 2 years for about $105 to stay licensed)
There is no financial aid offered for Nail Education in VA

When can I enroll?
Enrollment is open to start anytime 24/7. After paying you can start immediately. Students must be at least 16 years old to attend with valid ID's.

When can I study online?
Students can use their online study module anytime 24/7 with the ability to go as fast as they want and study whenever they want. Each 30 hour module MUST be completed within 60 days. State exams are updated regularly. You must complete all modules within one year or pay to restart to take a new updated course study.

When are classes?
Students book a class after they complete each module to take a test and learn hands on skill here. Classes are available to book Mon-Sun between 10am-9pm. Students pick when they want to attend.

What supplies are included?
We do not provide any nail supplies. There are supplies in the school to use but supplies will be needed at home for sanitiation, mani, pedi and acrylic. We sell kits if you want to purchase one (it is an additional cost to buy anytime for pickup).

How do I get a Nail License?
Students have to pass 6 modules/tests here within one year to be ready to take the state exam to get their license. Students can go as fast as they want to finish earlier (recommended 4-6 month but most finish within 3-4 months).

What if I don't finish each 30hr module in 60 days?
Most students finish all modules within 4 months. Students that do not finish each module within 60 days will have to start that updated module over with full cost. Students that take over 1 year to finish all 6 modules will have to pay to start over at module 1 for updates.

What if I don't want to finish?
Students that choose to quit anytime during their modules are not required to continue. No paid costs are refunded.

About Study

Study online anytime 24/7

Each module will have about 30 hours of online study and MUST be completed within 2 months
Online study is not timed to work on anytime 24/7
Testing and hands on training/evaluation must be passed at the school to complete each module
About 5-10 hrs of hand on practice should be done at home during each module to learn more in class
Students will pay per module to complete all 6 modules within 1 year
Student will be ready to take exams after completion of all 6 modules.
Students with low income can apply for a 10% sliding fee discount with proof of income (tax form 4506 and/or approval notice for Medicaid or SNAP).

Nail History, Communication, Personal Skills, Professional Image, Sanitation, Anatomy/Physiology, Nail/Skin Structure, Nail Diseases/Disorders, Basic Chemistry/Electricity, Understanding Nail Products, Manicures, Pedicures, Nail Wraps/Tips, Acrylic, Gels, Electric Filing, Nail Art Theory and VA State Regulations.

HAND ON STUDY:
Sanitation and salon safety procedures, manicure and pedicure technique, safe cuticle/callus care, tip/acrylic application with understanding of proper preparation and filing/shaping, gel polish techniques with additional training based on questions asked in classes.
