We are expanding our location to offer training in Lynchburg VA around May 2025

Each module should be completed within 60 days (with all 6 completed within 1 year or less)
Students will book a class (after each module) to test and learn/review hand on skills

 

 

 

Part 1/6 30hrs 

$500

Start with this first module to learn salon career information, sanitation, safety and polishing.

Part 2/6 30hrs 

$500

Module 2 will continue nail care services with manicure and pedicure services.  If advanced in mani/pedi this can be combined with Module 3

Part 3/6 30hrs

$500

Module 3 will continue nail care services with gel polish and upgraded spa services. If test scores for Module 1/2 is 90% or higher and both 1/2 were completed within 60 days this will cost $400.  

Part 4/6 30hrs

$500

Module 4 will continue nail care services with acrylic skills. If advanced in acrylics this can be combined with Module 5

Part 5/6 30hrs

$500

Module 5 will continue nail care services with advance acrylic skills.
If test scores for Module 3/4 is 90% or higher and both 3/4 was completed within 60 days this will cost $400.  

Final Part 10hrs

$500

Module 6 will evaluate and finalize nail training to prepare students for their licensing exams. Finish #1-5 within 120 days of paying for Module 1 to get this for $250. If your test average for 1-5 is 90%or higher you will get $250 off.

Each module should be completed within 60 days and a test must be passed here (with a review of hands on service skills here) to go to the next module. After successful completion of Module 1-6 within 1 year (or sooner as desired): students can be released (and is ready) to take the state exam for licensing. 

When can I enroll?
Enrollment for Lynchburg will open around April 2025. Students must be at least 16 years old to attend with valid ID's

When do I study?
Students will have online study to learn book work to test inside the school. Students must also attend classes to learn hands on skill. Students must finish each module within 60 days to avoid additional fees for retraining to prepare for updated state licensing exams. 

When are classes?
For the first few months will have classes available 2-3 days a week in Lynchburg between 10am-9pm or they can come to the Palmyra location as desired. We will add more days when we find another instructor. Students pick when to attend. 

What supplies are included?
We do not provide any nail supplies. There are supplies in the school to use but supplies will be needed at home for sanitiation, mani, pedi and acrylic. We sell kits if you want to purchase one (it is an additional cost to buy anytime for pickup).

How do I get a Nail License?
Students enrolling into our Lynchburg location will have to complete all hand on study and pass 6 modules/tests (to be ready and able to take the state exams for licensing)

What if I don't finish each 30hr module in 60 days?
Students that do not finish their module within 60 days will have to start the module over with full cost. Students that take over 1 year to finish all 6 modules will have to pay to start over at module 1. 

About Study

Study online anytime 24/7
  • Each module will have about 30 hours of online study and should be completed within 1-2 months
  • Online study is not timed to work on anytime 24/7 (each module completed anytime within 60 days)
  • Testing and hands on training/evaluation must be passed at the school to complete each module
  • 20 hrs of hand on practice MUST be done at home between each module to learn more in class
  • Students will pay per module to complete all 6 modules within 1 year (pay in full $2,500).
  • Student will be ready to take exams after completion of all 6 modules. 
  • Students that complete modules 1-5 within 120 days will get module 6 for free.
  • Students with low income can apply for a 10-30% sliding fee discount with proof of income (tax form 4506 and/or approval notice for Medicaid or SNAP).

    BOOK STUDY:
    Nail History, Communication, Personal Skills, Professional Image, Sanitation, Anatomy/Physiology, Nail/Skin Structure, Nail Diseases/Disorders, Basic Chemistry/Electricity, Understanding Nail Products, Manicures, Pedicures, Nail Wraps/Tips, Acrylic, Gels, Electric Filing, Nail Art Theory and VA State Regulations.

    HAND ON STUDY:
    Sanitation and salon safety procedures, manicure and pedicure technique, safe cuticle/callus care, tip/acrylic application with understanding of proper preparation and filing/shaping, gel polish techniques with additional training based on questions asked in classes.
