Nail Course

Our updated 2026 course is state-approved. Students complete weekly online coursework and attend in-person classes at our school Palmyra, Virginia.

 

Schedule options:​

  • 8-week program: Tuesday (10am-3:30pm) & Thursday (10am-3:15pm)

  • 10-week weekday program: Wednesday (10am-6:30pm)

  • 10-week weekend program: Saturday (10am-6:30pm)

Class date is reserved when a down payment or Payment in full is made.

Seats are open until full. Only accepting 2 students PER date.

These are the dates available in 2026. When dates are gone, it is full and not available. Open to enroll up to 60 days before classes start to review online study before class starts. 

8-Week Program:

Optional Kit

We provide students with all the supplies required for their learning during in-school lab training (exception to acrylic brush). Students have the option to purchase a kit from us for practice at home between classes or to use their own supplies at home.

Other Costs (not included)

After successful completion of our course students can sit for the Virginia State Nail Technician Exam. The cost is $194 to take exams, about $150 for exam supplies and $120 to get a Virginia Nail Technician License from DPOR.
These exam costs (due after completion of the coures) are not included in our course cost.

Requirements to Enroll

  • age 16 or older on first class day

  • Virginia DMV ID or Virginia Driver's License
     or any state photo ID with social security card/ITIN
    or passport with social security card/ITIN

  • 10th grade English Reading & Comprehension skills
     A high school diploma is not required here
    English communication & comprehension required.
    We no longer teach in any other lanquage.

  • Internet access for up to 10 hours per week

  • Upper mobility to file & apply product

  • Students do not need to live in Virginia but a Virginia Nail Technician License only allows sale of nail services in VA
    To transfer a Virginia license contact your state's Department for Cosmetology to understand reciprocity and transfer requirements.

Disiplinary Actions and Felonies

Students must disclose previous/current regulatory board professional licenses including denials and disiplinary actions from any state.

Students must disclose criminal convictions of felonies within the last 10 years. Additional documents will be required by DPOR to complete an exam registration at the end of the course so it's a good idea to start the paperwork when classes start or sooner.

Classroom

Students will learn theory work in the classroom. All classes are limited 2-4 students per date for focus.

Nail Lab

Students will learn manicures with spa upgrades, gel polishing and acrylic training with safe electric filing usage.

Pedicures

Students will learn how to perform safe pedicure services with quality.
